How long would it take to swap my SIM to a plus SIM card?

Swapping your Lyca Mobile SIM Card to a Lyca Mobile PLUS SIM Card will take between 3 and 72 hours. To know how to swap your SIM card, please log on to MyLyca Mobile Account, click on Account Manager and select SIM swap.

Do I have to sign a contract?

At Lyca Mobile, we believe in giving you the freedom & flexibility to use of services without any contracts and commitments; therefore, you do not have to sign a contract to use our prepaid service. However, we suggest you read our terms and conditions.

No, we do not currently offer Blackberry plans. We do provide a 3G mobile network connection which is needed by Blackberry Messenger to connect to Blackberry’s servers, however we cannot guarantee that Blackberry Messenger will work as it is a third party service.

To deactivate your Lyca Mobile Voicemail service: type *185# followed by the call button.

I have forgotten my PIN / PUK code. Where can I find it?

Your PUK code is displayed on the SIM card holder that came in your starter pack. If you have already registered and have a My Lyca Mobile account, you can find your PUK code displayed there – click here to register if you haven’t registered yet.
Alternatively, you can call our Customer Service at 1-866-277-3221 and they will be happy to help you.

How to unlock my handset?

If your mobile phone screen shows any of the following when you first put your Lyca Mobile SIM into your phone: ‘blocked’, ‘barred’, ‘incorrect SIM’ or ‘SP lock’, your mobile may be locked to another network.
Please contact your current provider directly to request the code which will allow you to remove your SIM lock.

Why is there a flashing envelope on my cell?

The flashing envelope indicates your text memory is full. This will usually prevent you from receiving more text messages until you have deleted a few old ones.

How do I make an international call with Lyca Mobile?

When it comes to making international calls, Lyca Mobile works in the same way as other mobiles or landlines.
Simply dial 011 followed by the country code you are calling, then the area code without the first 0 and then the phone number and press the call button.

For example, if you were calling Romania from the US, you would dial 011- 40377 881276 (example is of Lyca Mobile Customer Services).

Please note that most premium voice and text services in other countries cannot be reached from a cell phone service when calling from outside that country.

How do I send a text message from the US to another country with Lyca Mobile?

Lyca Mobile works in the same way as other networks when it comes to sending international text messages. Simply text 011 followed by your country code, then your area code and then the phone number. Then, press send.

No. At present, we do not offer Premium SMS or Premium Calling services as part of our product offering.

I have not used my Lyca Mobile for a while and it has now stopped working. Why is this?

Lyca Mobile automatically deactivates SIM cards if not used to make a call or send a text for more than 60 days. Unfortunately, these SIM cards cannot be reactivated and the mobile number will be unavailable for any future use. Please contact Customer Service at 1866-277-3221 as quickly as possible and one of our advisors will help you.

How much does it cost to access the voicemail?

All calls to access the voicemail from other networks are charged at standard rates. Your Lyca Mobile Voicemail service comes automatically activated. In order to access your voicemail from your Lyca Mobile in the US, dial 121 (or 91#).

Roaming services are automated and they should work as soon as you travel abroad. If you are unable to access the same, kindly restart your phone and you should be able to use the services without any problem.

Lyca Mobile currently only offers Prepaid services and does not have any subscription based plans. However, you can use our auto recharge feature to automate the process of adding credit to your account so that your plan gets renewed every month on its own and you never run out of minutes to connect with your loved ones.

Does Lyca Mobile charge taxes on my order?

All charges are inclusive of tax. However, there may be sales and other taxes (as required by the state) and are charged by the retailer where you purchase Lyca Mobile products. There may also be various federal and state fees that Lyca Mobile must collect or that Lyca Mobile must pay as part of regulatory requirements.

How do I set up auto recharge?

To set up Auto recharge, you need to:

1. Log on to MY LYCA MOBILE.
2. Complete a recharge using your debit or credit card.
3. While processing a payment, please select the Auto recharge service and set the minimum level of credit you want on your phone at all times. You can also choose from $10, $20, $30, $40, $50, $100 for your recharge.

When your credit falls below your minimum level, your phone will be automatically recharged.
